I'm M. Akshay Chandra, a B.Tech Computer Science student at Gokaraju Rangaraju Institute of Engineering & Technology, building toward cloud and AI/ML engineering.

My stack spans Python, Flask, and React on the front end, and LangChain, LangGraph, RAG pipelines, and the Gemini API on the AI side — with AWS (VPC, IAM, EC2) tying it together as I work through the Solutions Architect Associate certification.

As Technical Lead at the Free Software Wing, I build automation tools that replace manual, spreadsheet-based coordination for college events. As maintainer of GRIET StudySphere, I review and merge contributions from other students to a resource portal the whole department uses.

  • Shipped a regulation-based question-paper module (GR24 tab switcher, "New" badges) and a CSS-animated marquee banner using React, TypeScript, and Tailwind — merged to production via PR.
  • Serve as project maintainer: review and merge pull requests from external contributors to the open-source repository.

  • Architected 4 independent AI-analysis endpoints (shot-change detection, face detection, logo recognition, object tracking), each running a 5-stage pipeline: upload, Google Cloud Video Intelligence API analysis, OpenCV annotation, FFmpeg audio re-sync, and Cloudinary delivery.
  • Benchmarked end-to-end processing time across clip lengths (~1.2 min for sub-1-min clips, 5–8 min for 3–4 min clips) and validated correct label detection across tested video samples.
  • Integrated Cloudinary for scalable media storage/delivery and built an OpenCV-based preprocessing stage for automated frame extraction ahead of API calls.
